Breaking Point: Baltimore Bridge Collapse Reveals Systemic Failures
Six people are presumed dead after a cargo ship hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore on Tuesday, causing the bridge’s collapse. The bridge collapse has ignited conversations about the country’s aging infrastructure and the hazardous working conditions many immigrant workers face.
Dharna Noor, a fossil fuels and climate reporter at The Guardian, joins Rania and Eugene to discuss her reporting from on the ground in Baltimore.
“The Baltimore bridge collapse also tells us so much about the issues of our social infrastructure” @dharnanoor
