Participating in women’s events despite credible allegations of sex trafficking and/ or assault is truly bipartisan. Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz spoke at a conservative women’s summit despite being the subject of a federal investigation into sex trafficking allegations.
And, it’s worth noting, Bill Clinton, who has been accused of rape and sexual assault, who we know was on Jeffrey Epstein’s “Lolita Express” flights over a dozen times, participated in a talk about “empowering women and girls” with Kamala Harris. Katie, Rania Khalek and Jamie Peck wonder how this was allowed to happen.
It’s not that they think the Democrats are better than this. They just thought they had a better sense of optics than this.
