AG Merrick Garland Escalates His Effort to Protect the Biden Crime Family

The  corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has permanently ruined the reputation of the US Department of Justice by his false prosecutions of President Trump, has promoted the prosecutor for non-investigation of Hunter Biden to Special counsel.  The message is clear: find no wrong and you will be promoted again.

US District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika rejected Biden’s plea deal last month, at least partly because the DOJ  agreed to give him immunity from prosecution for other possible crimes. 

Republican lawmakers have accused the DOJ of trying to give the younger Biden a “sweetheart” deal while carrying out politically motivated prosecutions of Trump. A US House committee is investigating alleged solicitation of overseas bribes by the Biden family.

Garland has appointed David Weiss, who negotiated the favorable plea deal for Hunter Biden that was rejected by the federal judge presiding over the trial, special counsel in order to give Weiss more control over the “investigation.”  The Speaker of the House, KevinMcCarthy and House Judiciry Committee Chairman Jim Jordan see through the appointment.  House Speaker McCarthy said:  “This action by Biden’s DOJ cannot be used to obstruct congressional investigations or whitewash the Biden family corruption. If Weiss negotiated the sweetheart deal that couldn’t get approved, how can he be trusted as a special counsel?”

The United States of America has never been so shamed as it has been by the Biden regime.
