Lebanon: Resistance and liberation day
Resistance and liberation day in Lebanon is a vibrant celebration in the hearts of the Lebanese after the defeat of the Israeli occupation in much of the land in southern Lebanon.
By this year, the time since the liberation of southern Lebanon exceeds the time of its occupation by 2 years: 24 years of occupation matched by 22 years of liberation.
The last Israeli soldier was expelled from our land under the pressure of resistance strikes, without any negotiations, political entitlements, concessions, or conditions. In the times of genocide, this day gained an entirely new meaning.
