Washington’s NewBangladesh Proxy, Mohammed Yunus Meets with USAID

▪️USAID’s Samantha Power meets (https://www.usaid.gov/news-information/press-releases/aug-21-2024-administrator-samantha-power-speaks-bangladesh-chief-advisor-muhammad-yunus) with Mohammed Yunus on August 21 to discuss: “ways in which USAID might best support the interim government and the Bangladeshi people’s aspirations for a more democratic society, and work together to enhance good governance and human rights, as well as strengthen the country’s economy;”

▪️USAID exists to politically capture and control targeted nations, interfering in governance and economic policy to serve Wall Street and Washington’s interests at the expense of the targeted nation, in this case Bangladesh;

▪️USAID’s meeting with Yunus, himself a recipient of US government support for years, is further evidence of the degree to which the US was involved in supposed “student protests” in Dhaka and the danger of not defending a nation against foreign interference;
