US passing its Ukraine arms/ammunition funding doesn’t solve the persistent problem of not enough arms and ammunition available to buy with it in the first place.

Packages will be sent, but just as with previous packages, containing not nearly what Ukraine needs to sustain operations on the battlefield.

I see a lot of anger and even panic over a development that changes nothing fundamentally.

The resulting package may reflect monthly production lumped together over the period of time the funding was delayed, seeming “large” but in reality a continuation of critical shortages.

Those disappointed that US representatives failed to obstruct the spending have forgotten who they really work for despite the rhetoric they occasionally use with the public.
