M1 Abrams armor is insufficient, provided ammunition is inappropriate/ineffective, the tanks break down often and cannot be repaired because of their logistical needs/complexity;
M1 Abrams were meant to fight in combined arms warfare alongside sufficient artillery/air power, Ukraine has neither;
All of this was predictable, and applies to upcoming “wonder weapons” like the F-16.
