US Bullying ASEAN to Turn on Myanmar, Create the Next “Libya”

The US continues pressuring ASEAN to turn on one of their member nations – Myanmar – to reverse the ousting of the US-backed client regime of Aung San Suu Kyi.

The coercion the US uses in reality against ASEAN stands in stark contrast to the coercion and “bullying” the US accuses China of in relation to its neighbors. ASEAN must stand together because if the US succeeds in overturning Myanmar’s sovereignty, ASEAN will be weaker as a whole, and each nation faces being picked off one by one in a similar manner.
