US-backed Thai Protests Turn Violent Again

Once again the supposedly “pro-democracy” protests in Thailand – backed by the US government through the National Endowment for Democracy and through a recently passed US Senate resolution – have turned violent.

Police trucks carrying suspects involved in violence were attacks, a driver assaulted and requiring medical attention, and vandalism and arson were seen throughout the night.

The Western media has not reported this nor emphasized footage of the violence – in stark contrast to how they have sensationalized police tactics in the past. This is the same one-sided reported designed specifically to help promote the violence – not inform the public.
