Thailand Accelerates Joint-Chinese High-Speed Rail, Proposes Land Bridge & Why US Seeks to Stop BOTH

– Thailand is attempting to move forward both a joint-Chinese high-speed railway and a proposed Kra Isthmus land bridge;

– While both projects offer benefits for both Thailand and the region, the West is sponsoring opposition to them to obstruct development as a means to make it easier to maintain primacy over both Thailand and the rest of Asia;

– Should these projects move forward toward completion, it will seriously erode US influence and its ability to coerce nations in Asia-Pacific;

– It is important to understand not only US political interference and military interventions, but also its industrial-level efforts to arrest development around the globe by blocking or destroying infrastructure projects;
