SpaceX flight test was a success, both sections (booster and starship orbitor) successfully performed soft landings at sea.

The final goal is a fully reusable spacecraft capable of placing massive payloads into orbit reliably and often before landing under their own power like SpaceX’s successful Falcon 9 rocket family.

The design has already inspired similar programs in Russia and China
