According to pro-Ukrainian Live Map, Russian forces have secured a crucial juncture ensuring operational support west of Ukraine’s current positions;
Ukraine attempted to cut this area west off from Russian logistics by targeting bridges and using the river as a natural barrier;
Russian forces can now establish and maintain logistics without necessarily crossing the river and have also compromised the western flank of Ukrainian troops currently in Kursk;
Any attempt by Ukraine to oppose Russian counter-offensives will only drain more manpower and equipment along the already crumbling line of contact in the Donbass;
