Istanbul Talks Are More Theater

▪️Russia cannot “negotiate” with Ukraine, because Ukraine is not a sovereign nation.

Its government is incapable of making any actual decisions independently – Ukraine has been an extension of US foreign policy since its political capture in 2014;

▪️ Thus “talks” in Istanbul or anywhere else for that matter are simply theatrical episodes aimed at managing public, political, and diplomatic perception – not actually making a deal regarding the ongoing fighting;

▪️Talks can only take place between the US and Russia – the primary principles in this conflict – and the US has already made it abundantly clear they intend to continue their war with Russia through both Ukraine together with a larger role played by European proxies while the US shifts focus/resources toward China.

This was laid out in detail in both Project 2025 (published in 2023) as well as by US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s February 12, 2025 directive to Europe in Brussels;

▪️The fighting in Ukraine can only end if the US and the US alone decides to pull the plug on its own proxy war with Russia – or if Russia either decides to freeze the conflict or ends it on the battlefield;
