Inflection 25: Are we “Anti-Western?”
Criticizing Western foreign policy is often countered with claims that one is merely “anti-Western.” However, nothing could be further from the truth.
Not only are we not “anti-Western,” we are not even the equivalent but opposite of Western critics of say China or Russia – we don’t “hate the government, but not the people.” We believe any government, anywhere should be run the way the people there want – not how others abroad think it should be run.
The only issue is when a nation’s way of doing things includes meddling and murdering abroad.
