Former Google CEO complains Russia is winning the innovation cycle amid the US proxy war in Ukraine

▪️In an interview with SkyNews UK, Eric Schmidt talks about his role in supplying Ukraine with AI-driven drones/anti-drone systems;

▪️Schmidt admits that Russia has greater numbers of more capable weapons and is currently winning the innovation cycle claiming, “historically, Ukraine was this small, really smart, really fast innovator, and the Russians were, if you will, big, slow, not very capable. That’s changed. That’s a big threat. They need some money and they need technological help in order to counter this set of waves coming.”

▪️Back in reality this was never true – Ukraine is simply the vector through which the combined military power of the US and its proxies is being channeled, and this is what has prolonged the war;

▪️ Despite claims of Ukraine’s new US-built and supplied AI-driven drones changing the tide of the war, Russia has already been employing similar technology and on a larger scale;

▪️It must be remembered – however – that the US proxy war vs. Russia is meant to “extend” Russia, not necessarily defeat it specifically in Ukraine – that said – the myth of US or “Western” technological superiority is being dismantled on and over the battlefield in Ukraine
