DOGE = Streamlining, Not Ending American Empire

A limited hangout is when a dubious enterprise realizes there is growing awareness of and opposition to its activities and decides to admit to or even volunteer information about its own impropriety – all while avoiding the core issues enabling their enterprise to persist.

DOGE is pointing out REAL fraud, waste, and abuse and is streamlining the US government. There is no doubt about that.

But it is like a murderous warlord admitting his sword is rusty, ridiculous and can barely be used. He isn’t renouncing his being a murderous warlord – only that the implement he uses is in need of improvement.

Instead of throwing the sword out and reforming himself into a better person – he instead works on honing it into a more practical, balanced, and efficient blade.

Now that this process of honing the blade is complete – what will it be used for? If the answer is to make a bigger pile of skulls, then everyone’s problems have only actually gotten worse.

The Trump administration through its cabinet picks, policies, and initial actions has ensured us all that the US will continue pursuing global dominance especially vis-a-vis Russia, Iran, China and the rest of BRICS.

DOGE is simply creating a more efficient government to pursue that empire with.

THAT is the argument.

Partisan politics and emotions on both sides has – by design – blinded everyone to this fact.

Both sides argue about the process rather than the purpose or even the very premise all of this is predicated upon.

America’s unwarranted pursuit of global empire is the problem, not the tools it is using to pursue it.

That needs to be excised from America’s political and economic system, not merely fraud, waste, and abuse limiting America’s capacity to coerce, terrorize, and project military aggression worldwide.

If the Trump administration withdraws US troops home, 100% closes USAID/NED and exposes the many private fronts the CIA uses (Open Society, Omidyar, Team Rubicon, IRC etc), and US-backed opposition groups around the world actually fold – if the US DEFUNDS Ukraine, Israel, and the separatist regime on Taiwan – THEN we will know real change is afoot – that Americans are now first, not American empire.

Until that happens – and as long as the US continues doubling down on all of these fronts – DOGE is simply streamlining US empire – not ending it.
