Kurdish Forces Feel Abandoned as U.S. Shifts Syria Policy

Syrian Kurdish fighters, long backed by the United States in the battle against ISIS, are increasingly feeling abandoned as Washington signals an end to its security partnership and urges them to integrate with the central government.

Syria: for everyone who thought all Venezuela had to do to prevent US armed aggression was appease it, look at the Kurds in Syria who couldn’t have been more compliant treasonous sellouts to the United States, now deliberately, maliciously, and in such a calculated and self-serving manner – abandoned by the US for extermination by terrorists the US is also backing.

You cannot reason with, appease, or appeal to the US – or any empire driven by perpetual power/profit over purpose or principle. No amount of servitude will find favor in Wall Street or Washington if your existence suddenly impedes for them additional power or profit. You either fight and stop it, or you are consumed by it. You can possibly buy time, but not indefinitely.

Those are your only options.
