Civil rights attorney and activist Nekima Levy Armstrong discusses her arrest by the FBI and DHS for leading a nonviolent protest at a church service over the pastor’s role as ICE acting field director.
She calls out the White House for posting an AI-doctored image of her in an attempt to smear her, while her real arrest video shows her “ten toes down, standing for the people.”
Armstrong explains that despite the “political retaliation” she has faced, she will continue to fight against the escalating repression and ICE terror, saying, “This is a fight for our democracy. This is a fight for our humanity.”
The White House posted an AI-doctored image of Nekima Levy Armstrong after her anti-ICE church protest arrest.
She says they didn’t post the real image because it shows her “10 toes down standing for the people, not intimidated by their foolishness.”
