Unlike the Uncommitted movement which seeks compromise with the DNC on Gaza, the Abandon Harris movement believes Democrats must be defeated in November in order to exercise any real leverage. “Do not be deceived by the rhetoric that there is a lesser evil when it comes to genocide,” says Abandon Harris Director Dr. Hassan Abdel Salam.
Salam says while four more years of Trump would be a sacrifice for people in the US, “four years under any Republican is incomparable to one day in Gaza.”
