A viewer suggested that Putin wants to end the collective west problem for good (by kicking the US out of Asia. Alexander wondered aloud, “Why do we always bring up Putin?”, and concluded that a lot of people want the US out of Asia.
Now, I’m wondering if the Belt and Road initiative has already caused Asians to see a path that does not involve the US. I think of how the transcontinental railroad united Americans, and led us to think differently about ourselves.
